Live production training

Great shows are only as good as the people in the gallery.

mingleza trains vision mixers, directors and technical operators to run live television and streaming productions, from four-camera switching to full control room management.

Train where the pressure is real

At mingleza you learn on the same decks, intercom systems and multiviewers that run live television across the UK. Every course ends with a full rehearsal and a mock broadcast, so the first time you go live is never your first time.

Inside the gallery

Designed by broadcast professionals, built around real shows

Hands on the desk from the very first morning

Our trainees spend most of their time on the equipment, not in a lecture room. Each day follows the rhythm of a real production: briefing, line-up, rehearsal and transmission.

Meet the team

Multi-camera switching

Cut live between cameras, graphics and replay with timing that follows the director, not the other way round.

Live broadcasting techniques

Run clear talkback, count in breaks and recover calmly when a source drops during transmission.

Real-time video operation

Operate multiviewers, routers, encoders and playout so every feed arrives clean and on time.

Features

Gain real control over every live moment

From reading a multiviewer at a glance to managing a whole crew on talkback, our programmes build the judgement that live television demands. You will learn to anticipate the next shot, protect the programme output and keep a production calm when things change.
