Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all bookings and purchases made through mingleza for specialised training courses in live production decks and control rooms. These include instruction in multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. The policy covers both in-person and remote course formats offered to customers in the United Kingdom.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All course fees are quoted in British Pounds Sterling. Prices include value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Any additional charges such as optional materials or certification fees will be clearly displayed before payment is completed. No hidden fees are applied after the booking is confirmed.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital payment platforms. All payments are authorised in real time through secure third-party processors. Card details are never stored on our systems. Authorisation occurs at the time of booking and may involve a temporary hold on funds until the transaction is completed.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A binding contract is formed once you receive an email confirmation following successful payment. This confirmation outlines the course details, dates, and terms. Until this confirmation is sent, no contract exists and any payment held will be released if the booking cannot be accepted.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, provided the course has not started. For courses beginning within this period, cancellation is still possible before commencement. Once a course has begun, standard cancellation rights no longer apply.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for cancellations made within the 14-day period or if the course is cancelled by us. Non-refundable items include any deposits used to secure places on high-demand sessions and fees for completed digital modules already accessed. Promotional discounts may reduce the refundable amount proportionally.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us via the form on the Contacts page or email info@nfts.co.uk. Provide your booking reference, full name, course title, and reason for the request. Include proof of payment if available. Requests must be submitted in writing.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Each request is reviewed within 10 working days. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection. If rejected, the reasons and any appeal options will be explained. Approved refunds are processed without further action from the customer.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5 to 14 working days after approval, though bank transfer refunds may require up to 30 days depending on the provider. You will be notified once the refund has been initiated.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers

For digital course materials, access is granted immediately upon payment and the 14-day cancellation right is waived once download or streaming begins. Subscription-based follow-up modules follow the same rules. Promotional offers are subject to the terms stated at purchase and may not be combined with refunds.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within 7 days or the booking will be cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically where verified. Chargebacks are treated as cancellations and may result in restricted future access. Suspected fraud leads to immediate account suspension pending investigation.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or UK GDPR. You retain the right to services of reasonable quality and remedies for faulty provision. Nothing in this policy limits claims for personal injury or fraud.

Contact Route, Policy Changes, and Last-Updated Date

For questions about this policy, use the contact form on our Contacts page or reach info@nfts.co.uk. We may update this policy to reflect legal changes. The current version is dated 26 October 2026. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
