Training the people who run live television

mingleza is a UK course provider specialising in live production decks and control rooms. We teach multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation and the professional management of television and streaming productions.

Our story

mingleza began when a group of gallery professionals noticed how few training routes existed for the people who actually press the buttons on live shows. Most skills were passed on informally, one shift at a time.

We built a structured programme around real studio time, rehearsal and honest feedback. Today we train newcomers, career changers and working technicians who want to step up to the director's chair or the technical operations desk.

What you can expect from us

Real equipment

Trainees work on broadcast-grade vision mixers, routers and intercoms rather than simulations.

Working tutors

Every session is led by someone who still works on live television and streaming productions.

Small groups

We cap each cohort so everyone spends meaningful time at the desk and on talkback.

Calm under pressure

We teach the habits that keep a gallery steady when a live show does not go to plan.
